Welcome to Fly Tying 101. We’re focusing on the basics of fly tying, opening the door to an artistic and satisfying new hobby. Learn about the tools, materials, techniques, and more. It’s only $5 to reserve your seat, and you get that $5 back in credit for food and drink, so it’s essentially free. You’ll also be tying your own Bead Head Pheasant Tail, a great all around fly that imitates a number of mayfly nymphs. 

Note: We have a limited amount of vice and tool sets available, but encourage you to bring your own if you have them.
